Enabling the hidden panel ...

In order to publish the hidden panel on your site all you need to do is publish any module to the 'cpanel' position. In the template admin you can also change the time that the panel takes to open.

There are three different content layouts available in the Vision 2.0 template plus three widths.

 

You can organise the left and right module positions and the main content in to the following variations:

 

  • left, right and content (LRC)
  • left content and right (LCR)
  • content, left and right (CLR)


The width is set by changing the twidth variable. There are three options for the template width:

  • Thin - 800px wide
  • Mid - 940px wide
  • Full - 96%

If you are using Joomla 1.0 then these options are set in the template's index.php file as per the following image.

If you are using Joomla 1.5 then the layout variable is set via the dropdown list in the template administrator.
